Rucu Tradishonal

Rucu has been part of the Aruban kitchen for generations past to color and flavor the typical local dishes. It has been said that the Rucu tree used to grow in Aruba but that is currently not the case and so the seeds are imported from Colombia or Sto Domingo. Rucu Tradishonal Aruba Heat is manufactured in Aruba by the general petition of the people. First, we grind the seeds into a fine powder under high heat. During this roasting process, delectable flavors and beautiful aromas are released. After we blend and cook the powder with fresh quality vegetables, herbs, and spices to create a savory paste bursting with true island flavors.
